| And I can tell you in fact that 2JZ is not bullet proof. I have done probably todate around 10 Short block swaps. Now here is something you should consider. The 300ZX flows better than Supra head.. You can actually find real data on this. The Supra head uses only 2 cams and thefore causes less drag on the motor. Also Supra head does not use hydrolic lifters and therefore works on a very simple design which makes it easy to upgrade. The later year of the Supra actually has VVTi. Also Bullish Racing and MSP use after market main caps and girdles in there motors if that tells you anything. What makes the Supra great to me is as follows 1) Strong Motor with great balance and very solid components 2) Great aftermarket upgrades 3) Everything is cheaper because you normally buy only of something instead of 2 of everything 4) No so many cheap owners or kids ruining the car. Which is one the biggest problem with the 300ZX currently is that they have a heart attack at a $4400 for a TD05-16G kit while most supra owners start there Single Turbo kits (or did actually) at $4500. 5) Getting 550RWHP is cheaper than the 300ZX (mostly because you have to buy injectors and intercoolers, tho the 300ZX actually costs less than Supra). Now the 300ZX is making some ground due to people like TTPete, B-Ster, George, Z1, myself and a few others. And when I say ground is when you start showing some big numbers like 700RWHP.
